Gestüt Birkenheide is a stud and livery yard on the edge of Gifhorn in Lower Saxony, run by Nicole and Friedrich Sievers. Horses are stabled in modern boxes with generous outdoor paddocks, and the yard emphasises species-appropriate keeping. Facilities include indoor and outdoor arenas with professional footing, lungeing circles, wash and grooming bays, a solarium and heated tack and lounge rooms. Alongside the livery business the farm keeps its own broodmares and rears the resulting youngstock. Training is offered for both horse and rider, and homebred horses are sold from the yard.
