Heithaus Hufbeschlag is a family-run farrier and young-horse operation in Bockstedt near Drentwede, Lower Saxony, run by Marcel Heithaus. Alongside professional horseshoeing from a state-certified farrier trained in Münster, the family raises and trains young horses in their own converted stabling, including foal handling and imprinting from birth and preparing colts for stallion licensing (Körung). They also offer photo shoots and marketing support for horses being sold, as well as care for retired horses. The business has built its reputation over 20 years, combining traditional metalworking craft with hands-on horsemanship.
