The Reit- und Erlebnishof Liebig is a riding and activity yard on the edge of the woods at Meppen in the Emsland. It teaches children, teenagers and adults to ride, from complete beginners to returning riders, using two indoor schools with forest hacking on the doorstep. The youngest children start with led Ponyexpress sessions and pony familiarisation courses from around three years of age. The yard also offers therapeutic riding — riding education, riding therapy and hippotherapy — in cooperation with a local physiotherapy practice, alongside guided hacks and pony birthday parties.
