Zeit mit Shettys gives children time with two Shetland ponies, Isabella and Rosi-Melly, at Etelsen in Langwedel. Rather than formal riding lessons the emphasis is on contact at the pace of the child, learning to approach, handle, groom and care for a pony before going any further. Sessions range from a first supervised introduction to guided or self-led pony walks. The ponies also visit kindergartens and appear at birthday parties and special events.
